Graduation is in the air...

I can almost smell the relief and fear of all the college graduates in Athens all the way from Denver.  For those of you lucky enough to have gone to college, you know that the excitement of graduation is always mixed with excitement and fear of the journey ahead.  Looking back on my own experience at the University of Georgia, I wish I had taken advantage of that time dedicated solely to learning.  And now, on the precipice of adulthood, I am trying to snatch up knowledge anywhere I can get it.  Working with the Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe, I came to understand that education is not accessible to everyone.  The disparity of learning is large and it seems American values have shifted from knowledge to the quest for fame.
