Decorating with Mirrors
Apart from their obvious function, mirrors are a great
decorating tool. They add light and dimension to a small room and can seemingly double your space.
Stately, timeworn and authentic, Larson-Juhls Harrison Collection captures the soulful look of antique veneer mouldings with its naturally
imperfect detailing. A hand applied finish creates a genuinely aged look. All of the rubbed, antiqued patterning in Harrison is set
off by the rough-hewn veneer.
This moulding is inspired by the Neapolitan Baroque period of the 17th and 18th centuries. In order to achieve this special unique finish, there are 25 intricate hand-finished passages of toning and leafing. The elaborate edge recollects the hand carving for which Neapolitan artisans are distinctly renowned.
The Lavo collection brings old-world French design to its most modern edge. A fusion of traditional carvings enveloped in high gloss lacquer in sumptuous colors; controlled, blended and applied by Italian master craftsmen. Available in Electric Black, Red, Silver, White, Brown and Pewter.
Warm Florentine plaster is hand applied over an ornate moulding surface by skilled artisans using antique brushes. Hand application of gold and silver leaf, colorant, and patinas are then delicately overlaid numerous times to achieve this unique finish, giving the profile depth and dimension.
